NTPC Green adds 49 MW solar capacity at Khavda

, the renewable energy arm of NTPC, has commissioned another 49.1 MW at its 300 MW Khavda solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat, marking the third phase under the 450 MW hybrid tranche V project. This follows earlier phases of 142.2 MW on June 28 and 32.8 MW on June 30, 2025. On the financial front, NGEL delivered strong Q1FY26 results with net profit rising 59% YoY to ₹220 crore from ₹138 crore, supported by revenue growth of 17.6% to ₹680 crore. EBITDA came in at ₹603 crore versus ₹512 crore last year, with margins holding steady at 88.6% despite higher costs.
