NTPC Green Energy adds 9.9 MW wind capacity at Bhuj, boosting total commercial capacity to 7,553.675 MW

) has commissioned 9.9 MW of wind power at its 92.4 MW Bhuj project in Gujarat, taking its total commercial capacity to 7,553.675 MW. The project was developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Pvt. Ltd.—a joint venture between ONGC and NGEL. Financially, NGEL delivered a strong Q1 FY26 performance, with net profit surging 59% year-on-year to ₹220 crore from ₹138 crore, while revenue rose 17.6% to ₹680 crore. EBITDA also grew 17.8% to ₹603 crore, maintaining a steady margin of 88.6%, reflecting operational efficiency and sustained growth momentum in India’s renewable energy sector.
