NTPC Green Energy Partners with Paradip Port Authority to Drive Green Hydrogen Initiatives

NTPCGREEN
, a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has signed an MoU with Paradip Port Authority to jointly explore and develop green hydrogen-based mobility and related clean energy projects within the Paradip Port area. The agreement, inked on October 27, 2025, during India Maritime Week in Mumbai in the presence of Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, reinforces NTPC’s commitment to accelerating India’s green transition and sustainable port operations. This collaboration follows NGEL’s recent milestone, where 9.9 MW of its 92.4 MW wind project in Bhuj, Gujarat, became commercially operational. Financially, NGEL delivered a strong Q1FY26 performance with net profit rising 59% YoY to ₹220 crore, revenue up 17.6% to ₹680 crore, and EBITDA increasing 17.8% to ₹603 crore, maintaining a robust EBITDA margin of 88.6%.
