ONGC Makes Strategic Move with Mitsui for Ethane Carriers, Expands CSR in J&K

ONGC
has signed a key partnership with Japan’s Mitsui O.S.K. Lines to build and operate two large ethane carriers that will help supply imported ethane to its Dahej-based petrochemical unit, ONGC Petro Additions Ltd (OPaL). This move strengthens ONGC’s backward integration and secures long-term feedstock for ethylene production which is a vital raw material in plastics and chemicals. On the CSR front, ONGC has also developed a permanent 6,315 sq. metre Disaster Management and Yatri Niwas complex at Baltal to support Amarnath pilgrims, as part of a larger initiative across four J&K locations. These two updates highlight ONGC’s balanced approach building strategic global partnerships while reinforcing its social commitment on the ground. Follow me for more such updates, Thank You!
