Paras Defence secures ₹45 crore order from BEL for air defence systems

PARAS
has bagged a ₹45.32 crore order from Bharat Electronics (BEL) to supply signal and data processing systems and multi-sensor fusion systems, with execution scheduled over 29 months. Earlier this month, the company also partnered with Germany’s High Performance Space Structure Systems GmbH to collaborate on defence and space projects in India. On the financial front, Q1FY26 performance showed flat net profit of ₹15 crore, while EBITDA fell 8.7% to ₹22 crore and margins contracted to 23.6% from 28.8%. However, revenue grew 11.5% YoY to ₹93.2 crore, led by the Optics & Optronics segment at ₹42.5 crore and Defence Engineering at ₹50.7 crore, reflecting steady order inflows and expanding opportunities in the defence ecosystem.
