has executed a significant ₹6,447.54 crore contract with BSNL under Package 4 of the BharatNet project, covering Karnataka, Goa, and Puducherry. The scope includes end-to-end execution design, supply, construction, installation, and upgradation of middle-mile digital infrastructure, followed by long-term operations and maintenance. The contract value comprises ₹3,741.92 crore in capex, ₹2,245.15 crore in opex for the new network, and ₹460.47 crore in opex for the existing infrastructure, all inclusive of GST.
With a three-year construction period and a 10-year maintenance cycle (billed at 5.5% of capex for five years and 6.5% for the next), this deal ensures stable cash flows and enhances Polycab’s positioning in India’s large-scale digital infrastructure build-out. The scale and duration of the project not only support long-term earnings visibility but also reflect the company’s execution capabilities in government-led telecom infra initiatives.
