has bagged a ₹119.49 crore contract from South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) to set up a secure network across its mines in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The project involves deploying a managed MPLS VPN network that will help stream and store CCTV footage from various mining sites.
The work will be completed over three years, with a deadline set for June 5, 2028. Just last week, RailTel also received a Letter of Intent worth ₹274.40 crore from the Motor Vehicles Department in Maharashtra to install and maintain an Intelligent Traffic Management System across key blackspots in Vidarbha.
This larger project will run for 10 years, with completion expected by September 4, 2036. These back-to-back deals highlight RailTel’s steady momentum in strengthening India’s digital infrastructure.
