Reliance Halts Russian Crude at SEZ Refinery Amid Western Curbs

has officially stopped importing Russian crude into its special-economic-zone (SEZ) refinery at Jamnagar with effect from November 20, as part of its move to comply with Western sanctions. The company says that from December 1, all its export-refined products will be produced exclusively from non-Russian oil. This shift comes ahead of tighter EU and U.S. curbs on refined fuels derived from Russian crude, which kick in from January 2026.
