RITES Expands Infrastructure Portfolio with ₹175.41 Crore University Project and Strategic Logistics Partnership
RITES Ltd has strengthened its infrastructure consulting business by securing a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contract worth approximately ₹175.41 crore (excluding GST, including PMC fees) from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). The project involves the planning, design and development of campus infrastructure and related facilities, and will be executed over a period of 30 months from the signing of the agreement or until the completion of the assigned work, whichever is later. The company clarified that the contract is neither a related-party transaction nor does its promoter group have any interest in the awarding entity. In another strategic development, RITES has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) to jointly provide end-to-end Project Management Consultancy services for logistics infrastructure projects. The collaboration will cover everything from feasibility studies and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to engineering design, construction supervision, quality assurance and project management for multimodal logistics parks, inland container depots, rail-linked terminals, warehouses, railway infrastructure, roads, utilities and administrative buildings. While the MoU does not specify a financial value, it strengthens RITES' long-term position in India's growing logistics and infrastructure sector by expanding its opportunities in large-scale project execution. $RITES Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
