Consolidated Q4FY25 and Technical Outlook

, a government-backed rail infra player, boasts a robust order book of ₹83,221 crore as of June 2024, aiming for ₹1 lakh crore by FY25. It maintains solid fundamentals with ROCE at 14.7%, ROE at 14%, ROIC at 22.5%, debt of ₹5,419 crore, a low debt-to-equity of 0.57, and interest coverage of 4.06. While trading at rich valuations (P/E 70, P/B 9.37), it offers long-term visibility and a 0.49% dividend yield. Financials Overview: In Q4FY25, RVNL posted revenue of ₹6,427 crore and net profit of ₹459 crore (EPS ₹2.20), down from ₹6,714 crore and ₹478 crore (EPS ₹2.30) in Q4FY24. Compared to Q4FY23, revenue rose from ₹5,720 crore and profit from ₹359 crore (EPS ₹1.72). FY25 revenue stood at ₹19,923 crore vs ₹21,889 crore in FY24 and ₹20,282 crore in FY23, a 9% YoY decline due to project phasing. FY25 net profit came in at ₹1,282 crore, down 18.6% from ₹1,574 crore in FY24, with EPS falling to ₹6.15 (vs ₹7.55 in FY24). Operating margin remained steady at 6%, while interest cost dropped to ₹540 crore from ₹581 crore. Technical Setup: RVNL has confirmed a breakout from an Inverse Head and Shoulders pattern on the daily chart, with a neckline around ₹383. It’s now trading above key EMAs of 9-day (₹411.84), 70-day (₹364.41), and 100-day (₹375.58) which is signaling strong trend alignment. On the weekly chart, the RSI stands at 66.69 (daily) and 56.69 (weekly), indicating strength with room for upside. If sustained above ₹425, RVNL could test ₹480–₹500.
