Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd ( $RVNL) has secured a new Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth ₹221.33 crore from South East Central Railway for railway signalling infrastructure upgrades across 15 stations in the Bilaspur division of Chhattisgarh. The project includes replacing existing panel interlocking systems with modern electronic interlocking technology, installation of indoor and outdoor signalling equipment, OFC huts, construction and electrification of signalling and telecommunication service buildings, and cabling works in adjoining railway sections. The contract is scheduled to be completed within 730 days and reflects continued investment in railway safety and operational efficiency. On the financial front, RVNL reported a consolidated net profit of ₹187.1 crore in Q4 FY26, down 58.9% from ₹455.4 crore in the same quarter last year.
