RVNL wins ₹143 Cr rail electrification project

has secured a ₹143.3 crore order from South Central Railway to upgrade the electric traction system in Tamil Nadu’s Salem–Coimbatore route from 1x25 kV to 2x25 kV. This upgrade will help Indian Railways handle higher freight loads of up to 3,000 MT and is to be executed within 24 months. The win comes shortly after RVNL emerged as the lowest bidder for another ₹213.2 crore project, further reinforcing its project pipeline. Despite a soft start to FY25, the company remains confident of hitting its revenue guidance of ₹20,000–₹22,000 crore for FY26, driven by strong order momentum and ongoing execution.
