RVNL Wins ₹144.44 Crore Contract from South Central Railway for Electrification Upgrade

RVNL
has bagged a ₹144.44 crore contract from South Central Railway after emerging as the lowest bidder for an overhead electrification upgrade project. The scope includes the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning to upgrade the existing 1x25kV system to a 2x25kV AT feeding system, along with feeder and earthing works. The project spans the Ramgundam–Kazipet section in the Secunderabad Division, covering 92 route kilometres and 276 track kilometres, with an expected completion timeline of 18 months. This order, part of RVNL’s regular business operations, strengthens its position in executing large-scale railway infrastructure and electrification projects across India.
