Signature Global Expands Gurugram Development Portfolio Amid Near-Term Earnings Pressure
Signature Global Ltd has strengthened its development pipeline by entering into collaboration agreements for approximately 25.6 acres of land in Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana, with an estimated developable potential of 2.18 million sq. ft. Of this, Signature Global has secured development rights for 11.887 acres, while its wholly owned subsidiary, Signatureglobal Business Park Ltd, has secured rights for another 13.73 acres, subject to the required licences and regulatory approvals. The expansion comes alongside weaker Q1 FY27 financial performance, with the company reporting a net loss of ₹16.5 crore compared with a net profit of ₹34.4 crore in the same quarter last year, while revenue from operations declined 36.2% year-on-year to ₹552 crore from ₹865.6 crore. EBITDA also moved into negative territory, with a loss of ₹44.7 crore versus a profit of ₹33 crore a year earlier. However, the company's projects currently under execution are expected to support approximately ₹7,340 crore of revenue recognition and around ₹1,580 crore in customer collections over the next four to five quarters. From a market perspective, the stock declined 1.84% on Friday and is down 12.20% over the past six months, while the current price of ₹800 is around 31% below its 52-week high of ₹1,158. Overall, the new land collaborations strengthen Signature Global’s future development pipeline, although the near-term financial numbers indicate pressure on profitability and operating performance. $SIGNATURE Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
