Suzlon Secures 200 MW Order from Ayana Renewable Power Ltd

Suzlon Energy Ltd has secured its first 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Ltd, marking its third DevCo-led wind order across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The project, to be developed at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh, will deploy 64 S144 turbines, each rated at 3.15 MW, with power supplied to the MPPCL state grid. Suzlon’s EPC scope covers turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant, pooling substation, extra-high-voltage transmission line, commissioning, and operations and maintenance. The order also takes cumulative sales of Suzlon’s flagship S144 3 MW platform beyond the 10 GW milestone. The project is being developed through Suzlon DevCo, its integrated platform for incubating renewable energy projects 3–5 years before construction. The company highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s 55 GW+ wind potential at 150 metres as a key opportunity for future wind development, while management indicated that its integrated approach to renewable asset development is beginning to show results. Overall, the order adds to Suzlon’s project pipeline and provides further execution visibility in India’s wind energy segment, while the financial impact will depend on project execution and delivery over the coming period.
