has successfully commissioned two high-capacity 765 kV Extra High Voltage transmission corridors in Uttar Pradesh, the Mainpuri–Bara line spanning 380 circuit km and the Mainpuri–Unnao line covering 194 circuit km, together forming a 574 circuit km expansion of its network under the South East UP Power Transmission Company Ltd (SEUPPTCL) project, which it operates through a joint venture; these corridors are designed to enable the evacuation of over 3,000 MW of thermal power within the state, significantly strengthening grid reliability and supporting long-term energy security. With this milestone, Tata Power’s operational transmission portfolio has grown to 5,312 circuit km, with a further 1,997 circuit km under construction, demonstrating the company’s execution capability in complex engineering environments involving extensive tower steel and conductor deployment as well as challenging crossings, while reinforcing its role in modernizing India’s high-voltage power transmission backbone for sustained economic and industrial growth.
