Tata Power Teams Up with AWS to Drive India’s Smart Energy Revolution
Tata Power has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive India’s smart energy transition through AI, IoT, and cloud computing. The company has migrated 23 mission-critical applications to AWS using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), enhancing scalability, security, and real-time analytics across power generation, renewables, and grid management.
Two AI-powered data lakes now process real-time data from solar farms, wind assets, and smart meters, optimizing energy flow and predictive maintenance. This transformation is already improving grid stability, outage detection, and energy efficiency, driving cost savings.
Tata Power is also leveraging blockchain-based energy trading, AI-driven demand forecasting, and smart IoT integration to modernize grids in Delhi, Odisha, and Mumbai, significantly reducing AT&C losses. By integrating a cloud-first infrastructure, Tata Power is reinforcing its leadership in India’s clean energy shift and sustainable power management.
