TCS Bags ₹2,903 Cr Order from BSNL; Tejas Networks to Supply ₹1,525 Cr Worth of Equipment

TCS
has received an add-on Advance Purchase Order (APO) worth ₹2,903.22 crore from BSNL for the planning, installation, and maintenance of 4G network infrastructure across 18,685 sites nationwide. This forms part of BSNL’s broader initiative to scale its 4G rollout, where TCS is a key implementation partner. Following this development, Tejas Networks, a fellow Tata Group company secured a work order from TCS valued at approximately ₹1,525.53 crore for supplying Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment and related services. Earlier this year, BSNL had issued a ₹15,000 crore APO to a consortium led by TCS, with
TEJASNET
and
ITI
td. as partners. According to recent statements, around 70% of TCS’s previous order has been completed, and the current project is scheduled to run through Q4 FY25 to Q1 FY26. These developments represent a continuation of BSNL’s strategy to deploy over 1.12 lakh 4G sites nationwide, while also reflecting intra-group operational alignment within the Tata Group.
