Texmaco Rail Strengthens Order Book with New Railway Contract and Expands Global Rail Presence

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has secured a new order worth ₹26.56 crore from South Central Railway for comprehensive signalling and telecommunication works, including the installation of Automatic Block Signalling and the Kavach safety system. The project is scheduled to be completed within 12 months, further strengthening the company's position in India's railway modernisation efforts. Following this order, the outstanding order book of its Infra Rail & Green Energy division has increased to ₹1,159.94 crore (inclusive of taxes). The company also clarified that the contract is not a related-party transaction and that the promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity. Earlier this year, Texmaco achieved a major milestone by securing an international rail opportunity in South Africa worth more than ₹4,045 crore, covering the supply of over 2,235 freight wagons across multiple variants and 30 diesel locomotives, along with a proposed 15-year maintenance partnership. The project is expected to strengthen Texmaco's global footprint, support South Africa's railway modernisation initiatives, and create long-term opportunities in wagon manufacturing, locomotive upgrades, maintenance services, rail infrastructure development, and strategic partnerships across the African rail market. $TEXRAIL Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
