Titagarh Rail Secures ₹537 Crore Wagon Order from Adani Cement Group
Titagarh Rail Systems has won a ₹537.11 crore order from Ambuja Cements and ACC Ltd, both part of the Adani Cement Group, for manufacturing and supplying 16 BCFCM rakes and BVCM wagons. The order is set to be completed between January 2026 and March 2027, reinforcing the company’s position in the railway sector.
Beyond railways, Titagarh Rail is expanding into shipbuilding and maritime systems, focusing on ship construction, repairs, and related marine activities. Additionally, the company is entering the signaling and safety systems segment, aiming to enhance train control and monitoring solutions.
The company is also ramping up production, targeting a run rate of 1,000 wagons per month in the freight segment. Vice-Chairman and MD Umesh Chowdhary stated that by the March quarter, the company aims to stabilize at 3,000 wagons per quarter
