Titan's Market Position and Technical Outlook

TITAN
, one of India’s top lifestyle brands, generates 90% of its revenue from Jewellery, 7% from Watches & Wearables, 1% from Eyewear, and 2% from Emerging Businesses. With a 7% market share in jewellery, it operates 898 exclusive outlets under Tanishq, Mia, Zoya, and CaratLane, adding 135 new stores in 9M FY24. Its Watches & Wearables division, featuring Titan, Fastrack, and Sonata, has 1,080 exclusive brand outlets and 8,000+ multi-brand stores, supported by five manufacturing units. Titan Eye+ leads the Eyewear segment with 975 stores, including 14 international locations. The company recently acquired 100% of CaratLane and invested $3.5 million in CueZen Inc. Financially, Titan has a market cap of ₹2,68,600 Cr, a stock price of ₹3,026 (52-week high/low: ₹3,867/₹3,021), P/E of 82.9, and ROCE of 22.7% and ROE of 32.9%. Technically, Titan has broken down from a rising channel, signaling bearish momentum. The stock is trading below key moving averages, with the 9-day EMA at ₹3,151, 70-day EMA at ₹3,347, and 100-day EMA at ₹3,330, all positioned above the current price of ₹3,025.50. The RSI at 27.14 suggests oversold conditions, hinting at a potential short-term bounce, but strong resistance lies at ₹3,150–₹3,200. On the weekly chart, the stock has broken key support levels, with the 100-week EMA at ₹3,337 and 9-week EMA at ₹3,296 acting as resistance. The immediate support zone is ₹2,986–₹2,883, and a break below this could push the stock towards ₹2,800–₹2,766. Titan remains a fundamentally strong company, but technical weakness suggests caution in the near term. I have attached the daily chart for your reference.
