Q4FY25 Results and Technical Outlook
posted a strong Q4 FY25 with net profit rising 146% YoY to ₹1,059.6 crore, mainly due to better performance from its gas power plants, growth in the distribution business, and a one-time tax gain of ₹637 crore. While revenue fell slightly by 1.1% to ₹6,456.3 crore, EBITDA grew 1.9% to ₹1,130.4 crore, and margins improved to 17.5%. Its total comprehensive income rose to ₹1,085 crore for the quarter and ₹3,059 crore for the full year, up 142% and 63% respectively. The company remains financially strong with low debt and announced a final dividend of ₹5/share, taking the total FY25 dividend to ₹19/share. It also plans to raise ₹3,000 crore via bonds for future growth.
On the technical side, the stock closed at ₹1,449.90, up 5.7% this week and 1.6% today. It’s holding above key support levels (100 EMA: ₹1,436.60; 70 EMA: ₹1,422.31), with resistance at ₹1,466–₹1,470. A breakout may take it to ₹1,520–₹1,560, while falling below ₹1,420 could push it down to ₹1,360 or ₹1,332. The RSI suggests a neutral trend with a slight positive bias.
