TVS Motor to Invest ₹2,000 Crore in Karnataka for a Global Innovation Hub
TVS Motor is making a bold move to strengthen its innovation and manufacturing capabilities! The company has signed an MoU with the Karnataka government to invest ₹2,000 crore over five years, setting up a Global Capability Centre (GCC) and expanding its Mysuru operations. This hub will drive the future of mobility, bringing together top engineers, designers, and AI/ML experts to develop next-generation bikes.
With an annual capacity of 15 lakh vehicles, TVS aims to double exports and revenue from its Mysuru facility, which already contributes ₹1,200 crore in exports. This investment aligns with Karnataka’s Industrial Policy 2025-30, which targets ₹7.5 lakh crore in investments and 20 lakh new jobs by 2030.
At the Invest Karnataka 2025 summit, Karnataka also introduced an AI-powered single-window system for faster approvals, while Lam Research committed ₹10,000 crore to the state’s tech ecosystem.
