The ₹340 crore order from GAIL involves the design, construction, and operation of a 450 m³/hr Effluent Recycle Plant, an evaporator-based Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Plant, a new Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the augmentation of an existing one at GAIL’s Pata, Uttar Pradesh petrochemical complex. The EPC phase will be completed in 24 months, followed by six months of operation & maintenance (O&M). Projects and Development India Ltd. (PDIL) has been appointed as the Engineer-in-Charge. Additionally, Wabag secured a ₹20 crore repeat O&M contract from IOCL for the Tertiary Treatment Reverse Osmosis (TTRO) Plant at Panipat Refinery, Haryana, extending their partnership for another three years. Wabag has managed this plant since 2006, making it India's first industrial water recycling plant in the oil & gas sector. S.
