Waaree Energies Advances Growth with ₹293 Cr Acquisition and Q4FY25 Standalone Results

WAAREEENER
has approved the 100% cash acquisition of Kamath Transformers Pvt. Ltd. for ₹293 crore, supporting its business expansion strategy. Kamath, established in 1996, has shown solid revenue growth from ₹25.73 crore in FY22 to ₹54.41 crore in FY23, and ₹122.68 crore in FY24. Additionally, Waaree Forever Energies, its wholly owned subsidiary, will acquire the newly incorporated non-operational Green New Delhi Forever Energy Pvt. Ltd. to manage projects under the IPP model. On the financial front, Waaree posted strong quarterly performance, with revenue rising from ₹2,683 crore in Mar 2024 to ₹3,323 crore in Mar 2025 and operating profit more than doubling from ₹352 crore to ₹762 crore. OPM improved from 13% to 23%. Net profit increased from ₹432 crore to ₹581 crore, while EPS slightly dipped from ₹21.93 to ₹20.21, likely due to equity dilution. On an annual basis, revenue climbed from ₹10,718 crore in FY24 to ₹12,765 crore in FY25, and net profit rose from ₹1,148 crore to ₹1,781 crore. Operating margin strengthened from 13% to 19%, offsetting a dip in other income from ₹581 crore to ₹454 crore. Overall, the company is showing strong core performance with growing scale, though ongoing margin sustainability and execution of new acquisitions remain key areas to monitor.
