Wipro Secures $650 Million Deal with Phoenix Group’s ReAssure UK
WIPRO
has signed a 10-year, $650 million (£500 million) contract with ReAssure UK, a part of Phoenix Group—the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. The agreement, executed through Wipro and its fully owned subsidiary Wipro Financial Outsourcing Services Limited (WFOSL), focuses on delivering platform-based life and pension third-party administration services.
Wipro will manage critical operations, including policy administration, claims processing, customer service, data management, and compliance, while also modernizing ReAssure’s ALPHA policy administration platform with AI, automation, cloud, and digital transformation. Structured as a master services agreement, this deal strengthens Wipro’s position in the insurance technology space, ensuring long-term value creation over the next decade.
Technically, WIPRO's daily and weekly charts indicate a bearish undertone with a recent breakdown from key support near 280-290. The stock is trading below the 70-day and 100-day moving averages, signaling short-term weakness. However, strong support is seen around 263-265, aligning with the 100-week moving average, which may trigger a short-term bounce.
RSI is near oversold territory (38 on daily, 44 on weekly), suggesting a potential relief rally, but upside momentum remains weak unless it reclaims 280-290. If 263 breaks, the next downside levels are 240-250. A decisive move above 280 could restore bullish momentum.
