NCC Limited’s MMRDA Contract for Mumbai Metro Line 6
Contract Details:-
NCC Limited has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for Package 1-CA-232 of Mumbai Metro Line 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli EEH), valued at approximately ₹2,269 crore (excluding GST).
The scope covers:-
Design, manufacture, supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of rolling stock
Communication-based signalling and train control systems
Telecommunication systems and platform screen doors
Depot machinery and plant
The execution is structured over a 24-month construction period, followed by a 2-year defect liability maintenance and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance phase.
Strengthening the Order Book:-
As of March 31, 2025, NCC’s consolidated order book stood at ₹71,568 crore. This new Metro Line 6 award will further bolster long-term revenue visibility and enhance earnings stability through extended maintenance contracts.
