This diversifies its revenue mix beyond domestic rail, metro and defence segments, and strengthens its credibility in emerging markets. Stock Reaction & Outlook Shares of BEML jumped 1.73% on the day of the announcement, closing at ₹4,530 apiece (up ₹76.90) on July 4, 2025. While the order size is modest relative to its overall book, it highlights BEML’s potential to scale exports and could pave the way for larger international contracts. Broader Order-Book Context As of FY25 guidance, BEML is targeting an order-book of around ₹18,000 crore, with a split roughly 50% rail & metro, 30% defence & aerospace, and 20% mining.
