Supreme Industries Ltd one of the strongest performers
Supreme Industries Limited was one of the strongest performers in the Nifty Midcap 100 closing at ₹3,580.30, up 7.05%. The stock moved from ₹3,347.40 at the open to an intraday and closing high of ₹3,580.30. Trading volume was about 4.70 lakh shares, substantially above the previous sessions.
The immediate trigger was a positive brokerage revision. Investec upgraded its view and raised its price target, while also increasing its FY27 and FY28 earnings estimates. Those are the brokerage's estimates, not company guidance.
There is also an operating angle behind the interest. Supreme Industries' Q1 FY27 revenue was ₹2,717.66 crore, up 4.16% year-on-year, while operating profit increased 24.80% year-on-year to ₹397.95 crore. The numbers suggest that profitability grew faster than revenue during the quarter.
The September 18 price action is more interesting because the stock closed at the day's high with a sharp increase in volume. That indicates strong demand during the session. However, after a 7% move, the next test is whether buyers continue to support the stock rather than allowing the entire breakout to retrace.
For the next session, ₹3,580 becomes the immediate resistance reference because it is the September 18 high and close. On the downside, ₹3,500 can be watched as an initial psychological support, followed by the ₹3,340–3,350 zone around the day's opening area. Holding above these levels would keep the recent momentum structure intact. A close back below the breakout zone would require caution.
The next fundamental checkpoints are Q2 volume growth, PVC pricing, realisations and margin performance.
Call: Watch whether the high-volume breakout sustains above ₹3,580 rather than chasing the first move.
Disclosure: I have no holding or position in Supreme Industries Limited at the time of writing.
