WeWork India: Riding the Enterprise Coworking Wave

Coworking in India is no longer just for startups and freelancers. In the first half of 2026, big companies occupied 72% of all managed workspace seats, while GCCs made up more than half the demand, up from 37% a year earlier.

WEWORK
shows how this plays out. Fortune 500 firms, large enterprises and mid-sized companies contribute around three-fourths of its core revenue, and large clients are now signing up for close to three years on average. Its occupancy rose to nearly 87% in FY26. The next wave could be even bigger. Industry estimates suggest AI-focused employees in flexible offices could grow from about 14,000 in 2025 to around 1.2 lakh by 2030, and with centres in India's top cities, WeWork India is well placed to capture that demand. WeWork India's stock rallied nearly 90% between April and August. After the run-up, it has cooled off 15% from its peak but holds firm support in the current ₹650–660 zone. Watch for a reclaim of the 50-DMA (₹692) to signal the next leg higher.
