Lenskart Shares Fall After ₹2,468 Crore Block Deal

LENSKART
Solutions shares fell over 2% in early trade on September 21 after around 3.6 crore shares, or 2.07% of the company’s equity, changed hands in a ₹2,468 crore block deal. The shares were traded at ₹688 apiece, putting the transaction size significantly above the earlier reported deal value. The block transaction follows reports that Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust was looking to sell its stake in Lenskart. The earlier proposed deal was valued at around ₹2,047.4 crore, representing nearly 1.7% of the company’s equity, with a floor price of ₹682.45 per share. The actual transaction was larger, with 3.6 crore shares ultimately changing hands. Lenskart shares were trading at around ₹692, down 2.2%, during early trade. Despite the decline, the stock had gained 57.5% so far in 2026, while the Nifty 50 had declined 10.7% over the same period. Shares sold under the reported deal terms are subject to a 90-day lock-up on further sales.
