wholly owned subsidiary Vibhav Energy has paid ₹550 crore to acquire the operations and maintenance business of Wind World (India) Limited.
The transaction was completed through a Business Transfer Agreement under the resolution plan approved by the NCLT Ahmedabad Bench. The transfer will be completed after the remaining conditions under the agreement are fulfilled.
The acquisition gives Inox Wind access to an established wind-turbine O&M business. This can strengthen its presence beyond turbine manufacturing and project execution.
The financial impact will depend on the acquired asset base, service revenue, margins and integration costs.
What I’m watching: Completion of the business transfer, O&M revenue contribution and the effect on consolidated margins.
Stance: Tracking whether the acquisition adds recurring service revenue alongside the company’s existing wind business.
