secured new orders worth ₹4,001 crore during Q2 FY27 for solar cell and module supplies covering 2,308 MW, along with EPC project execution.
The company announced the order inflow on 9 October 2026. The orders came from power producers, module manufacturers, EPC companies and other customers, excluding orders from the retail market segment. <Cite refs={["turn886099search1","turn886099search4"]}/>
Premier Energies has also increased its module manufacturing capacity to 11.1 GW and its solar cell manufacturing capacity to 10.6 GW. The expanded capacity provides scope to serve a larger volume of demand, although utilisation and profitability will depend on actual deliveries and market conditions.
The key factor is conversion of the order book into revenue at sustainable margins. Solar manufacturing can be affected by pricing pressure, input costs and changes in industry capacity.
What I’m watching: Order execution, manufacturing utilisation, module pricing and operating margins over the coming quarters.
Stance: Tracking whether the strong order inflow translates into profitable growth.
