Solar Industries reports 79% quarterly profit growth
Solar Industries India
SOLARINDS
reported approximately 79% year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit to ₹650 crore for the September 2026 quarter, supported by expansion across its industrial explosives and defence businesses.
Revenue increased approximately 69% to ₹3,519 crore, while gross profit rose 86%, reflecting stronger operating performance during the quarter.
India's increasing defence expenditure, infrastructure development and mining activity could support long-term business opportunities. However, profitability will depend on order execution, raw material costs, regulatory compliance and operating efficiency.
What I'm watching: Defence order inflows, explosives demand, revenue growth, operating margins and international business expansion.
Stance: Strong quarterly revenue and earnings growth; sustainable margins and consistent order execution remain key factors to assess.
