Wipro Q2 revenue beats estimates despite weak deal bookings

Wipro Limited

WIPRO
reported Q2 FY27 revenue of ₹24,752.7 crore, up around 9% year on year and slightly above analyst expectations. However, consolidated net profit declined 1.9% year on year to approximately ₹3,200 crore. Total deal bookings fell 45% to $2.6 billion, while the company guided for Q3 revenue to range from a 1.5% decline to 0.5% growth in constant-currency terms. The results show a mixed picture. Better-than-expected revenue is encouraging, but lower deal bookings and cautious guidance raise questions about near-term growth momentum. What I’m watching: Large-deal conversions, Q3 revenue performance and operating margins. Stance: Mixed results. Revenue resilience is positive, but deal wins and forward guidance remain important concerns.
