Eternal: Can Quick Commerce Deliver Sustainable Profits?

ETERNAL
l, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, represents one of the most closely watched business models in India's consumer internet space. But the key question for investors is no longer just how quickly the business can expand. It is whether that growth can generate sustainable profits. Three metrics I would monitor: 1. Order value: Higher average order values can improve revenue per transaction. 2. Contribution margin: Discounts, delivery costs and fulfilment expenses determine how much each order contributes. 3. Store economics: Quick-commerce expansion must eventually justify the investment in dark stores, inventory and logistics. The risk Rapid expansion can increase market share while putting pressure on cash flow. Revenue growth alone does not prove that a business model is becoming more profitable. My view Eternal deserves analysis through its growth rate, unit economics and path to sustainable profitability. I would look for improving margins and disciplined expansion before forming a stronger directional view. For Monday, I would monitor the stock's price action alongside any fresh company disclosures rather than treating the weekend narrative as a trading signal.
