IHCL raises FY27 revenue guidance to 15% to 17%
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (NSE: INDHOTEL) reported Q2 FY27 consolidated revenue of ₹2,566 crore, up 21% year-on-year. Net profit increased 23% to ₹349 crore. What happened? The company reported another record September quarter, with EBITDA of ₹788 crore and an EBITDA margin of 30.7%. Key growth drivers included: - A 25% increase in revenue per available room at domestic same-store hotels. - A 25% increase in management fee income. - A 25% increase in revenue from the select-service business. - Contributions from recent acquisitions and new hotel openings. Following its first-half performance, IHCL raised its FY27 consolidated revenue growth guidance from 12% to 14% to 15% to 17%. Its hotel-segment revenue guidance now stands at 17% to 19%. My analysis The guidance upgrade is more important than the headline quarterly growth alone. IHCL is benefiting from two distinct engines: stronger performance at existing hotels and expansion through new properties, management contracts and acquisitions.
