is trying to reinvent itself, but the transition is messy and expensive.

Revenue grew a decent 6.6% with their digital services doing well - data up 9.4% and digital fabric jumping 17.4%.

TATACOMM
is clearly pivoting from old-school telecom to modern digital infrastructure, and the wins in AI-ready networks and AWS partnerships look promising on paper. But here's the ugly truth: profits cratered 35-43% as transformation costs pile up. EBITDA margins dropped to 19.1%, and you can see the strain of running two businesses simultaneously - the legacy telecom cash cow and the new digital growth engine. It's like renovating your house while living in it. The AWS AI-ready network tie-up could be huge if enterprises actually start spending big on AI infrastructure. Their digital order book is growing double digits, which suggests demand is real. But at a 29x P/E ratio, you're paying for a transformation that's still more promise than proven profit. This feels like a classic "it gets worse before it gets better" story. They're spending heavily to build capabilities that should deliver higher margins eventually, but "eventually" is doing a lot of work in that sentence. The next quarter will show whether they can actually monetize these digital investments or if it's just expensive positioning. At these valuations, patience isn't optional - it's required.
