Fractal Analytics profit jumps 139% in Q2

Fractal Analytics Limited (NSE: FRACTAL) reported a strong Q2 FY27 performance, with consolidated revenue from operations increasing 19.8% YoY to ₹956.5 crore. Net profit more than doubled to ₹79.2 crore, compared with ₹33.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Key Highlights • Revenue increased 19.8% YoY to ₹956.5 crore. • Net profit jumped 138.6% to ₹79.2 crore. • Operating margin improved to 10.5% from 5.6% a year earlier. • Healthcare & Life Sciences revenue grew 79% YoY. • Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) grew 30%. • Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail grew 11%. • AI products business reached an annual revenue run-rate of over ₹150 crore, up 39% YoY. • The company crossed $100 million in quarterly revenue for the first time. My View Fractal's results highlight the growing commercial opportunity in enterprise AI and analytics. The strongest takeaway is the combination of revenue growth and significant improvement in profitability. Healthcare and BFSI are emerging as important growth engines, while the products business is gradually building scale. However, reported revenue growth of 19.8% translates to approximately 10% growth on a constant-currency basis. This distinction matters when assessing underlying business momentum. The products business currently contributes around 4% of revenue, so its ability to scale further will be important. What I'm Watching Next I will monitor constant-currency revenue growth, client additions, operating margins and the contribution of AI products to overall revenue. The key question is whether Fractal can sustain profitable growth as enterprise AI adoption accelerates. Stance: Positive on improving profitability, strong vertical growth and AI product momentum, but valuation and sustainable growth remain important considerations. Disclosure: I do not have any holding or position in the stock mentioned above.
