Astral slips below key averages of 20/50 MA once more

ASTRAL
closed at ₹1,382.5 and stayed below both the 20-day average of ₹1,420.6 and the 50-day average of ₹1,472.2. The latest decline matters because the stock has now given up the August rebound and is again trading in a weak trend structure. Astral operates in pipes, adhesives and building materials, so the business is linked to housing demand, plumbing replacement and project execution in real estate and infrastructure. That gives the company a solid long-term space, but the chart right now is not reflecting strength. Price has been making lower highs since the March peak, and every recent bounce has been sold into. The fall from the ₹1,540 to ₹1,560 zone has been sharp enough to push the stock well below its short-term trend average, while the gap between price and the 50-day average shows how much momentum has cooled. My view is that this is no longer a routine pullback inside an uptrend. It looks more like a stock that is still searching for a base. The first zone I would watch now is ₹1,370 to ₹1,380. If that fails, the next reference comes closer to ₹1,320 to ₹1,340. On the upside, any recovery first needs to reclaim ₹1,420, and only a move back above ₹1,470 would improve the structure in a meaningful way. For now, the trend remains weak and rallies may continue to face supply
