Coforge rebuilds above its moving-average support zone

COFORGE
closed at ₹1,859 after gaining 1.1%, holding above its 20-day average at ₹1,822 and 55-day average near ₹1,796. The move indicates that buyers are defending the moving-average band after the recent sharp pullback from the ₹2,000 region. The stock remains volatile, but the short-term setup has improved. The 20-day average is above the 55-day average, while MACD has crossed above its signal line and the histogram has turned positive. This signals that selling momentum is easing, although it needs follow-through before a stronger recovery can be confirmed. For Coforge, interest-rate concerns matter indirectly through global technology spending. Higher rates can make clients cautious on discretionary transformation budgets and delay deal decisions. At the same time, currency movement can influence rupee earnings because of the company’s overseas revenue exposure. ₹1,822 is the immediate support, followed by ₹1,796. Holding this zone can allow the stock to revisit ₹1,900 and then ₹2,000. A close below ₹1,796 would weaken the recovery attempt.
