HAL: Strong Trend Above Key Moving Average Supports Upside
Technically,
HAL
continues to display a constructive long-term structure after recovering sharply from the ₹3,500–₹3,600 region and establishing a sequence of higher highs and higher lows. The recent rally has taken the stock back towards the ₹5,000 zone, with the price currently at around ₹4,895 and trading comfortably above both the 20-day moving average at ₹4,849 and the 50-day moving average near ₹4,608. The positive separation between these averages indicates that the medium-term trend has turned firmly bullish. The recent breakout from the ₹4,400–₹4,500 consolidation area was particularly important, as it marked a transition from accumulation into a stronger upward move. The stock is now testing the psychological ₹5,000 level, followed by the ₹5,100–₹5,200 zone, where previous supply may emerge. A sustained move above ₹5,100–₹5,200 could strengthen the momentum and bring the stock back towards its previous high zone around ₹5,600. On the downside, ₹4,850–₹4,800 is the immediate trend-support area, while ₹4,600 represents stronger medium-term support around the 50-day moving average. As long as HAL sustains above these moving averages and continues to form higher lows, the broader technical bias remains positive.
