PG Electroplast - The same test, Rebound may happen
PGEL
reported record Q1 FY27 revenue of about Rs 2,034 Cr, up roughly 35%, with net profit near Rs 77 Cr. Margins were the soft spot, and management has been talking about an 8% full year operating margin excluding incentives.
That trade-off is the business. PGEL builds room air conditioners and other appliances for brands as a contract manufacturer, so it wins volume by pricing keenly and earns thin margins on it. Revenue can jump 35% while profit lags, and capacity expansion adds fixed cost before it adds output. Execution on that expansion is the risk worth watching.
Now to the chart, because it looks alarming at first glance.
Price at 562 is about 4% below the 20 EMA and 3.3% below the 50. RSI has fallen to 37.5 from 50 ten sessions ago. The stock is down almost 11% in 20 sessions.
Every one of those readings says weakness. So apply the test.
Check the slope of the 50 EMA. Over the last 20 sessions it is still rising, up about 1.7%. And price is 16.4% higher than it was 60 sessions ago. The slow average has not turned down, which means the larger trend is intact and this is a pullback inside it.
