Tata Chemicals faces renewed selling below ₹650

TATACHEM
closed at ₹628.60 after a volatile session that briefly tested ₹621. The latest red candle keeps the stock close to its recent low zone and follows a failed attempt to hold the sharp September spike. That spike created activity, but it did not change the prevailing trend. Price has remained in a broad sequence of lower highs since the May rebound, signalling that sellers still control the medium-term structure. The moving-average setup confirms the pressure. The 20-day average is near ₹651.67 and the 55-day average is around ₹650.13, with both positioned above the current price. This creates a tight but important resistance band near ₹650–₹652. MACD is below the zero line and below the signal line, while the histogram is negative, showing that the latest decline has not yet lost momentum. ₹620–₹621 is the immediate support area. A close below it can bring ₹600 into focus. For the structure to improve, Tata Chemicals must first reclaim ₹650–₹652 and sustain above this moving-average cluster. Soda-ash pricing, chemical-cycle demand and the performance of the company’s broader businesses remain key factors to monitor.
