Tube Investments - pullback apart from a trend change

TIINDIA
had a mixed Q1 FY27. Revenue across its main businesses grew about 17%, but consolidated net profit fell to roughly Rs 1.7 bn from around Rs 3 bn a year earlier. Growth at the top, pressure below it. That gap usually comes from where the money is going. TI runs a core engineering business alongside newer bets in clean mobility and its stake in CG Power. Newer businesses absorb capital and run at thin or negative margins while they scale, so consolidated profit can fall even as revenue climbs. Whether that is investment or drag depends on execution over the next few quarters, and that is the honest risk here. Now the chart, and the question worth asking of it. Price is 2,698. The 20 EMA sits at 2,808 and the 50 EMA at 2,857. Price is under both, and the 20 is under the 50 since 16 July. RSI is 37, down from 48 five sessions ago. Every stock dips below its averages sometimes. So how do you tell a pullback inside an uptrend from an actual trend change? Look at the slope of the 50 EMA. Over the last 20 sessions it has fallen about 1.7%. In a pullback, that slow average keeps rising while price dips beneath it. Here it is heading down, and price is 14% lower than it was 60 sessions ago. That is a trend change, not a dip. One softening detail, volume on the decline is running under half the 20 day average, so this is drift rather than heavy selling.
