Voltas stays under pressure below key averages

Voltas is in a clear corrective leg, with the latest close near ₹1,039.80 sitting below both key moving averages. The 20-day average is around ₹1,084 and the 55-day average near ₹1,183, leaving price beneath a falling short-term trend measure as well as the broader medium-term reference. This alignment shows that rallies are still being sold rather than developing into durable reversals. The recent decline has pushed the stock toward the ₹1,020–1,000 zone, which is now the immediate support area. A close below ₹1,000 would extend the sequence of lower lows and keep the downtrend in control. On the other hand, a first improvement would be a recovery above ₹1,084, the 20-day average. That alone would only signal a pause in the fall; a stronger change in structure needs price to reclaim the ₹1,180–1,185 band around the 55-day average.

VOLTAS
MACD remains below zero, with the MACD line and signal line almost overlapping around -39. The flattened histogram suggests downside momentum has eased, but it does not yet indicate a convincing bullish crossover. For now, the practical reading is defensive: respect the downtrend, use ₹1,000 as the risk level, and look for higher lows plus a move back above the 20-day average before treating any bounce as a trend repair. Voltas needs evidence of demand, not just a short-covering lift.
