Silver Futures Outlook: Can Silver Bounce Toward ₹300,000 ??

Based on the chart provided, Silver Futures on MCX is trading around ₹224,400, with a crucial support zone near ₹214,000. The broader chart structure indicates that silver has corrected significantly from its earlier peak and is now consolidating close to an important historical support area. A rebound toward ₹250,000–₹270,000, followed by ₹285,000–₹300,000, is technically possible if the ₹214,000 support holds and buying momentum strengthens. However, the recovery should be confirmed by price action, trading volume and supportive global macroeconomic conditions rather than assumed solely because the market is near support. Macro factors that could influence the rebound US dollar and Federal Reserve policy: Silver generally benefits when the US dollar weakens and expectations for interest-rate cuts increase. However, the latest market backdrop is challenging: on October 9, Reuters reported that precious metals were receiving support from a softer dollar and easing Treasury yields, while uncertainty about the Federal Reserve's future policy continued to influence sentiment. A renewed rise in yields or a stronger dollar could limit silver's recovery. Industrial demand and global growth: Silver is both a precious metal and an industrial commodity. Demand from electronics, electric vehicles, power infrastructure and data centres can provide longer-term support. Nevertheless, the Silver Institute's 2026 outlook anticipates weaker photovoltaic-related demand and lower industrial fabrication, partly offset by investment demand and technology-related consumption. Therefore, the industrial-demand argument is supportive over the longer term but is not an unconditional bullish signal for the immediate future.
