$ETERNAL From Rs 212 to Rs 310 | Eternal's Quiet Comeback
$ETERNAL Markets opened today with Sensex gaining 201 points to 78,782 and Nifty holding above 24,641, as IT stocks led early buying even as Asian markets pulled back after a two-day AI-driven rally. Eternal was among the top three Nifty gainers in early trade today, continuing a run that has made it one of the more compelling recovery stories on the index this quarter. The numbers tell that story clearly. The 52-week low of Rs 212.60 was hit not long ago. Today the stock trades at Rs 310.40 — a recovery of 46 per cent from that floor — while the 52-week high of Rs 368.45 remains the next meaningful target above. Mutual fund shareholding stood at 31.68 per cent as of August 5 — among the highest domestic institutional conviction levels for any Nifty consumer-tech name. The fundamental shift backing that recovery is real. Q1 FY27 food delivery grew 20.1 per cent year on year to Rs 10,769 crore, with 27.2 million monthly users. Net profit surged 268 per cent to Rs 92 crore, and EBITDA grew 106.6 per cent to Rs 969 crore. Management has raised long-term margin guidance for quick commerce to 6 per cent, driven by order frequency growth — a signal that Blinkit's profitability path is becoming clearer with each passing quarter. Goldman Sachs maintains a Buy with a target of Rs 345, citing Blinkit's margin gains and forecasting 21 per cent upside from current levels. With IT leading gains today and consumer tech names benefiting from the broadly positive risk-on tone, Eternal's position near the midpoint of its 52-week range — with institutional conviction rising and fundamentals improving quarter on quarter — makes it one of the cleaner stories on the index this Thursday.
