At the same time, L&T is growing its business in the AI and data-centre sector through LTN Compute and ***** The company has won a Rs 10,000 to 15,000 crore order from Together AI to build an AI Factory at its Chennai data-centre campus — a facility expected to use 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs with an initial capacity of 250 MW.

Overseas orders have become an important part of L&T's growth, at times making up around 65 per cent of quarterly new orders. The order book now stands at over Rs 5.5 lakh crore — three-plus years of revenue visibility. The global oil and gas EPC market is expected to grow from $65.96 billion in 2026 to $102.05 billion by 2034, with offshore projects expected to make up more than half the market this year.
L&T shares closed at Rs 4,086.70, up 0.73 per cent on Monday, with a market capitalisation of Rs 5,60,803 crore. On a day when Nifty fell 78 points, L&T's ability to hold gains on the back of an order win tells its own story about where institutional conviction currently lies.
