Infosys Ltd. – Q1 FY26 Performance Overview

For informational purposes only. Not investment advice. Infosys reported a steady performance in Q1 FY26, with revenue coming in at ₹38,540 crore, reflecting 3.2% growth year-on-year in constant currency terms. Net profit stood at ₹6,120 crore, up 1.8% YoY, while operating margin was maintained at 22.8%, demonstrating strong cost controls despite rising employee costs. While global macroeconomic concerns continue to weigh on tech spending—especially in discretionary areas—Infosys managed to secure several large deals, particularly in BFSI, manufacturing, and energy sectors. Its digital transformation and cloud services remain key contributors to its topline. Attrition declined sharply to 12.5%, the lowest level in two years, reflecting improved employee retention and workforce stability. Infosys also doubled down on its AI capabilities, announcing fresh initiatives in generative AI-led transformation for enterprise clients. An interim dividend of ₹9 per share was declared during the quarter. While growth remained modest, Infosys’s disciplined execution, strong client relationships, and evolving digital focus support its long-term value proposition.
